Lavender + Honey
I'm from out of town, but whenever I'm in the Pasadena, CA area, I always make my way over to Lavender and Honey! The drinks are delicious. The interior is inviting.
FEATURED:
LEFT: L+H Toast -- spread with goat cheese, sprinkled with lavender flower petals, and drizzled with honey. This combo is MAGNIFICENT. I am not usually one to eat goat cheese, but I highly recommend this to anyone!
MIDDLE: Cortado -- one of the few places I know that feature cortado on their menu. For those who don't know what's in a cortado, let me break it down for ya: milk and espresso -- as simple as that. Sounds like any other drink huh? Well the ratio is between 1:1 - 1:2 and the milk is simply lightly steamed, not foamy or frothy like in a cappuccino or latte.
RIGHT: Lavender breve -- my favorite go-to drink. Beautifully crafted, light lavender taste, delicious.
All in all, this place is one of my favorites! Wish the place was a little bigger, would love to just sit for a bit and relax. I usually get to go, this place is always bumping!
